Dear Western North Carolina Craftsperson,
We are pleased you are submitting your information for the new HandMade in America Craft Registry online made possible by funding from the Appalachian Regional Commission. We are very excited about making this resource - a directory of all craftspeople in WNC who choose to participate - available. we get requests weekly for the different type of information included on the form. We hope you will find this resource beneficial. The form is self-explanatory and will enable users of the Craft Registry website to search by your name/business name, by your medium, by your county or any keyword from your description or affiliations, etc., as well as price range and type of sales.
Each craftsperson will have one page which will include a description of your work, an image, places where your work can be seen/purchased and how you can be contacted (or not.) Note that the form has some required fields and also allows you to choose what information you want to keep private (i.e., location, phone, etc.) *To submit the form online, complete the information, attach a .jpg of the work you want included and hit "submit." **If you do not wish to submit your image online, please mail a slide or photo of your work to us at HandMade.
