This workshop is for painters of all levels who would like to learn more about basic theory. The class focuses on five principles: drawing, composition, value arrangement, color properties, and application of the paint. A portion of each day will be devoted to presenting these principles and demonstrations will illustrate them. The workshop will show that by becoming proficient with the craft of art, each person’s artistic side can assert itself with the confidence that comes with technical self-assurance. Lodging is available for students and their families for a modest fee.
