Michael Rutkowsky’s simple forms are handmade from his own unique stoneware clay body. From functional dinnerware to sculptural forms, the surfaces are treated with slip techniques that yield richness in touch and sight. Their natural earthy colors have a complexity that is brought out by the reduction firing process.
