Kathy Triplett makes one-of-a-kind sculptural ceramic art work—tiles and abstract objects—and often incorporates a client’s special interests into a piece. For example, she might add small objects into openings or windows to highlight them. The ceramic wall pieces can be individually hung or permanently installed on interior exterior surfaces. The tile designs may represent natural textures, insects, sea creatures, electronic devices, or the geometry of tools. Surfaces are finished with an earthy palette using ceramic stains, glazes, and terra sigillatas.
