Craft Design Source : Larson Porcelain & Design

Julie and Tyrone Larson create one-of-a-kind porcelain which is both functional and decorative. Tyrone throws the forms on a potter’s wheel. Julie has developed her own interpretation of a centuries-old European technique of painting directly on a base of raw glaze with a thick application and additional colored glaze which fuses in a single firing. The Larsons also do slab-constructed platters, framed wall tiles and murals, and commission pieces.
