Craft Design Source : Judith Duff Pottery
Judith Duff’s wheel-thrown and hand-built forms are altered in various ways to make each pot distinctive and unique. The creations are wood fired in either her Train kiln or Japanese style anagama. Judith constructs forms from clay that are functional, decorative, and have a sculptural component, often reminiscent of the Japanese aesthetic. The one-of-a-kind wood fired surfaces of earthy natural ash or shino glaze compliment an environment embracing natural materials and handcrafted objects.
