Craft Design Source : Sandy Creek Weavers

In tapestry and rug weaving, Emily Hyatt of SandyCreek Weavers uses color, technique, and texture to create art for interior walls and floors. Often using historic looms, Hyatt, trained in part by weavers at Cherokee over fifty years ago and more recently by the Navajo, incorporates elements of the natural environment into her work. Her landscapes in particular provide evocative focal points for interiors. Designs are contemporary and traditional.
