Claudia Dunaway creates functional stoneware and porcelain pottery intended for daily use. All of the work is handmade on the potter’s wheel and fired to 2400 degrees. Fluid leaf designs and circular motifs are prominent and achieved using colored slips, carving, and food-safe glazes. The porcelain pieces are translucent with a smooth and refined surface. The stoneware has a warmer palette. All of the work is dishwasher and microwave safe.
