Craft Design Source : Chris Moses Pottery
Chris Moses focuses primarily on hand-built and raku-fired sculpture. Inspired by the animal kingdom, Chris sculpts large and small whimsical animals that are enriched with bright colors and details. Being a landscape watercolorist has inspired her to create relief wall murals of mountain scenes that can be hung or installed on interior surfaces. The surface of her work is a combination of subtle and lively underglazes, transparent crackle glaze, and the soft smoking of the clay body that is a signature of raku-fired work
