Cheryl Stippich combines a rich palette of colors and textures with traditional fine craftsmanship to create original works in glass. Styles range from traditional to modern and she incorporates material not usually found in stained glass such as polished geode slices, mineral specimens, or vintage glass jewels. Hammered wire overlays, decorative soldering, and enamel highlights are used as design elements, adding texture and a three dimensionality to her art work. Types of commissioned works include fixed or free-hanging windows, entryway sidelights, transoms, cabinet doors, mirrors, and wall components.
